JOB TITLE: Safety Manager
 
JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Will manage all Health and Safety issues for a 500+ employee plant
• The Plant Health and Safety Manager leads, plans, develops, maintains and enhances the safety.
• The Plant Health and Safety Manager will also develop and deliver effective policies, procedures, auditing, training, communications, and educational materials to promote increased understanding, appreciation and adherence to safe operating practices throughout the workplace to ensure compliance

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelors or advanced degree in a safety related discipline and 5 or more year's experience managing safety programs in manufacturing environment.
• Detailed understanding of State and Federal Safety regulations.
• Detailed understanding of industry best practices in safety engagement and enhancement.
• General understanding of workers compensation administration.
