LOCATION: Houston, TX
 
TYPE OF COMPANY: Refinery

JOB TITLE: Environmental Specialist
 
JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Develop and implement new environmental compliance programs in conformance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
• Manage and improve existing environmental compliance programs.
• Prepare required regulatory reports in area of responsibility.
• Provide compliance assistance to other departments within the refinery.
• Work as a member of an Area Team to support day-to-day operation of the refinery.
• Review refinery projects and management of change (MOC) to ensure regulatory compliance

REQUIREMENTS:

• Experience in an environmental or process related area.
• Air regulatory expertise in programs such as NSR/PSD Permitting, NSPS, MACT, NESHAPs, or LDAR is a plus.
