JOB TITLE: EHS Supervisor
 
JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Will be responsible for EHS responsibilities for a 200 employee plant.
• Qualifications:
  • Coordinates the plant environmental, health and safety effort and ensures compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies and procedures. Actively interacts with employees to promote safe acts.
  • Anticipates, identifies, and evaluates hazardous conditions and practices.
  • Develops, implements, and administers hazard control methods, procedures, programs.
  • Measures, audits, and evaluates effectiveness of safety programs.
  • Implements and maintains Plant Management Safety Accountability Program.
  • Leads all safety related committees, incentives and programs plant wide.
  • Develops and maintains a Training Strategy/Philosophy for the Plant.
  • Ensures Workers Compensation program is administered in an effective manner

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's Degree in Safety, Management, or organizational development required.
• 3+ years of experience in environmental, health and safety in a unionized manufacturing environment required.
• Food manufacturing industry experience preferred.
• Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing to all levels of the organization.
